Gian Carlo Parolari commented that even though the Omicron variant is highly contagious, so far there is no record of any infected traveler and, if an infected person is detected, they are immediately isolated.

“We also as tour operators have the protocols and all the training to isolate the person, take them to the Health Center or a hospital or return them to the ship if someone with symptoms is detected,” he added.
