Mazatlan, Sinaloa. – Mayor Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres announced that in the last working visit he made to the state of Guanajuato, the most important thing that was brought was that the twinning with the city of León was endorsed, at the same time that he announced the creation of an Economic and Cultural Corridor, with cities of that state.

The mayor of Mazatlan recognized that this achievement is very important because that city has the greatest example of industrial growth in the country.

“León is a first-class industrial city that has grown tremendously, and this strong corridor in Mexico has caused León, Guanajuato and the state of Guanajuato to grow like never before,” he acknowledged.

The mayor of Mazatlan reported that he has had communication with the Governor of Guanajuato and today he was with the Governor of Michoacán and both expressed their interest in coming to Mazatlan to bring very interesting projects.

In this same sense, Benítez Torres announced the creation of an Economic and Cultural Corridor, between the cities of San Miguel Allende, León, Dolores Hidalgo, and Guanajuato, Guanajuato with this city.

“A corridor where we are going to make packages for people to come and we are going to promote the cultural and economic corridor for all the entrepreneur who wants to know the progress we are making together,” he said.

The port of Mazatlan, in commercial matters, serves the states of the Northern Economic Corridor (SINALOA, NAYARIT, DURANGO, ZACATECAS, CHIHUAHUA, COAHUILA, NUEVO LEÓN, TAMAULIPAS) and now expands to Jalisco, Guanajuato and Queretaro.
