At a press conference, the Undersecretary of Tourism Planning, Investment and Development, Rafael Mendoza Zataráin, who attended on behalf of the Secretary of Tourism Ma. del Rosario Torres Noriega, stressed that, in cases like this celebration, work is done in coordination with all government agencies and society to obtain better results.

For his part, the Secretary of Economic Development, Tourism and Fisheries of the Mazatlan City Council, Ricardo Velarde, mentioned that with the El Habal-La Noria circuit there is an example of how they have reactivated this important area, hence the need to socialize events such as the Tamal Fair that Mazatlecos have adopted, and continue generating this type of tourist programs that our towns and the municipality offers.

The president of the citizen committee of La Noria, Marisol Lizárraga Lizárraga, announced that this party began to take place in 2020 within the framework of the Gastronomic and Artisan Tianguis “La Noria mi Pueblo Querido”, organized in order to celebrate the day of La Candelaria, seeking to make this event a tradition that is celebrated year after year
