Said suspension was due to not having the notice of operation, so the evidence was secured while the pertinent procedure is carried out.

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Due to not having the operating notice, the State Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks in Sinaloa has temporarily suspended three laboratories in the port that carried out Covid tests in Mazatlán.

Felizardo Castro Fierro, head of the commission in the south of the state, pointed out that they have carried out verification tours in those laboratories or private establishments where the tests are taken in order to know if they are approved or not by Coepriss.

” We are verifying the sampling and confirming if the tests that are being carried out are approved by Coepriss, more than anything they must have a different area where the consultation is offered. Likewise, the personnel that takes the sample must have training on how to said sample is taken, whether it is a chemist or a doctor,” he noted.

Without revealing names, he added that of a total of 51 laboratories verified, three were “suspended.”

” They do not have the notice of operation, at the time they are assured of the tests and they are suspended for the moment, while they carry out their proper procedure,” he added.

He mentioned that they have also made some visits to Escuinapa, Concordia, El Rosario, and San Ignacio, especially to emphasize the laboratories that must capture the results of the tests on the platform and thus obtain real data.

” In the sense that they are reporting positive or negative cases to the jurisdiction and likewise they are capturing them in the system, to have real data, because some laboratories were not reporting these positive cases ,” he mentioned.
