Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- In the midst of the increase in Covid-19 infections that the state of Sinaloa is going through, the sanitary measures in some Mazatlán tianguis have been relaxed, since both attendees and merchants forget to use face masks or bring them misplaced.

After taking a tour of the Sunday street market in the Juárez neighborhood, the busiest in the city, it was observed that the sanitary filter was not working, which was the only access and where the staff of the Mayor’s Office and Commerce was previously.

People could pass without applying antibacterial gel or without being required to use face masks, in addition to the fact that the ages were no longer restrictive, they could enter from children to older adults.

Already between the stalls, some consumers did not wear their face mask well, others did not even wear it and one or another merchant also ignored this recommendation.

This Sunday the municipality of Mazatlán woke up with 408 active patients and 491 suspected cases, in addition to 45 hospitalized patients.
