According to the Federal Ministry of Health, the new Covid Traffic Light will come into force next Monday, January 24, and will be present until February 6. In it, 12 states are located in green, 10 in yellow, 9 in orange, and only one in red, after the virus indices analyzed.

According to the Health unit headed by Jorge Alcocer , in this period the states of Campeche, Colima, Chiapas, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Michoacán, Nayarit, Oaxaca, Puebla, Tabasco, Tlaxcala and Veracruz will be at a green light. This, according to the evaluation of the Guideline for the Estimation of Risks of the Traffic Light by Covid-19 Regions of the Ministry of Health.
States in Yellow COVID Traffic Light
Regarding the states that will be at a yellow Covid traffic light, they will be Mexico City, State of Mexico, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Morelos, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Sinaloa, Tamaulipas and Yucatán. The first two were green, but they have reported a significant increase in positive tests for Covid-19.
States in Orange COVID Traffic Light
According to the new Covid-19 Traffic Light, the entities of Baja California, Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Durango, Nuevo León, Quintana Roo, Sonora and Zacatecas will be at an orange traffic light. Many of these entities have postponed their return to the basic level classrooms.

The only state that will be at a red COVID-19 traffic light for the next two weeks will be Aguascalientes. In the last epidemiological week, 2,187 positive cases were registered.
