Volaris announces that as of April it will have the new Culiacán – Cancún route. Get ready and let’s go to Cancun.

As of April 1 of this year, Volaris will exclusively operate the Culiacán – Cancún route. The opening of the new route represents growth in Sinaloa’s air connectivity.

With direct routes to the main vacation destinations and the possibility of conquering a potential market of more than 3 million people, Volaris seeks to attract more passengers. This is the main airline in Culiacán since 2007 it has transported almost 10 million passengers.

“We remain committed to expanding air connectivity in Mexico with our point-to-point network, supporting economic reactivation through tourism with new routes that increase supply in key destinations for the country, such as Cancun, where we are the main operator with more than 26 million passengers since 2006”, commented Omar Carrera, commercial director of Volaris.

Currently, the Mexican airline operates in Mexico, the United States, Central America, and South America.

In line with its business model, Volaris is committed to airports that decentralize operations in the country’s capital and encourage demand in destinations with great growth potential.

Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday

Departure from Cancun: 12:58 p.m., arriving in Culiacán at 3:16 p.m.
Departure from Culiacán at 4:01 p.m., arriving in Cancun at 8:09 p.m.
