The counselor of the Association of Hotels and Tourist Companies of Mazatlán, José Gámez Valle, recalled that the first 20 days of January are traditionally lazy.
” In general we are going to have an occupancy of 50%, it will definitely not be a January not like the one we expected, but we estimate that February and March will be fine, the estimate is that this virus will decrease at the end of the month “, He said.
Gámez Valle trusted that Canada will not close the borders due to the increase in infections from Ómicron, a variant of Covid-19, because the winter season would be affected.

The hotel manager endorsed the reduction of capacity in lodging establishments to avoid contagion among tourists and collaborators.
