Culiacán already exceeds 1,400 active cases and Mazatlán is about to reach 500
Mazatlán, Sin.- This Saturday, January 8, the Secretary of Health reported that 887 patients with coronavirus were detected in the state, the highest number in a single day in the pandemic so far.
The new cases; 389 from Culiacán, 132 from Ahome, 98 from Culiacán, 84 from Guasave, 49 from Navolato, 37 from Salvador Alvarado, 29 from El Fuerte, 22 from Escuinapa; Another seven municipalities added from 2 to 18 new cases.
One death was also registered and 128 patients were discharged, mainly from Ahome, Culiacán, and Mazatlán.
Historical accumulated 681 days after facing the pandemic: total cases in Sinaloa 79 thousand 542, patients recovered 67 thousand 043, deaths 9 thousand 128.
