Luis Núñez Gutiérrez assures that they will visit the more than 200 kilometers of rural roads to meet the needs
Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The Municipal Government, through the Public Works Directorate, carries out the repair of neighborhood roads of the La Noria receivership, after the damage left by hurricanes Pamela and Nora, assured Luis Núñez Gutiérrez, holder of this unit.
By indications of Mayor Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, the official is visiting the more than 200 kilometers of local roads that exist in Mazatlán, to meet the needs of some towns in terms of access to towns, such as El Tecomate de La Noria.
“See the needs that are enough in the case of the town of El Tecomate de La Noria, and we are supervising that all the roads are in good condition so that all the people can arrive without problems and can communicate with each other,” he commented.
During the supervision, Núñez Gutiérrez toured the communities of Los Copales, El Zapote, and El Guamúchil, where they carried out reconstruction and maintenance work with machinery to leave the roads in good condition for the benefit of the residents.
Hortensia Álvarez Villareal, Commissioner of El Tecomate de La Noria, mentioned that in other years the communities were abandoned, but the mayor listened to the requests of the residents, and the roads are repaired in the rural area.
“Public Works responded very well, because it repaired the road because it was bad, it was ugly and there were landslides, it cleaned the machine and the cars are already passing a little better,” he said.
The head of Public Works announced that they will return very soon to the rural area with personnel from JUMAPAM and the Public Lighting Department to attend to the requests made by families in this community.
