Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The rebound in infections by Covid-19 has already reached the port sector of Mazatlán. Through a press release, the contagion of more than 50 workers at the Mazatlán Maritime Terminal, a company that provides cargo services in the Comprehensive Port Administration of Mazatlán, was announced.
” During these months we will continue to face the impacts of Covid-19, in our business life despite maintaining the protocols and preventive measures in our operations and the advance of vaccination in Mexico, we have had more than 50 infected workers,” says the document.
The letter signed by the general director of Tmaz, Mauricio Ortiz Medina, is addressed to the director of ASIPONA, API Mazatlán, Mariel Aquileo Ancona Infanzón, where he makes an invitation to self-care due to the rise in cases of coronavirus.
It points out that at the beginning of the year, protocols and preventive measures have been maintained in operations, contemplating more than 30 prevention actions.
For this reason, he called on employees to join preventive actions and avoid meetings with friends and family, maintain a healthy distance and use the mask.
