The Director of Public Services says he will give priority to settlements where dengue cases have been reported

Mazatlan. – The Municipal Government, through the Public Services Directorate, will launch this Friday a campaign of discharging in 22 neighborhoods of the city and in rural areas, to prevent the proliferation of the dengue-transmitting mosquito.

Miguel Luis Morales Lizárraga, head of the agency, said that in the collection of pots, priority will be given to settlements where dengue cases have been reported, on Mondays and Fridays from 8:00 a.m., with a special cleaning crew Urban in dump trucks.

“We are not going to stop in this discarding of the 22 colonies, we consider that it is a great step, because colonies that have rates of mosquito proliferation are contemplated,” said the official.

He specified that, at the end of the cleaning campaign in the 22 programmed colonies, they will continue with other settlements that require this work, because the objective is to reduce the presence of the dengue-transmitting mosquito in the city.

Morales Lizárraga added that this Friday and Saturday 8, they will make tours of the Mazatlán I, II, and III colonies and assured that citizens can call the phones 982-4433 of the Urban Cleaning department or 072 of Citizen Service, to request support for the removal of trash.
