The Ministry of Communications and Transportation is directly involved in the construction of the road given that it is located on the Mexico 15 federal highway.
Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The director of Public Works of the Mazatlán City Council, Luis Gerardo Núñez Gutiérrez, stated that he had already had communication with personnel from the Ministry of Communications and Transportation who, in turn, informed him that in the first two months of this year, the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit will release the resources for the construction of such an important communication route.
This is due to the communication problem faced by residents of the El Quelite receivership, due to the fall of the bridge of the same name on federal highway Mexico 15, last October due to the attacks of Hurricane Nora.
“The issue of resources is going to be given to them, remember that the National Fund for Natural Disasters disappeared and that is an issue that belonged to Fonden, on the issue of disasters, they are holding hands with Conagua as well but this year at the beginning of the two months they will obtain the resources so that the bridge can be started ”, he explained.
Núñez Gutiérrez commented that the bridge reconstruction project will be different to prevent it from collapsing with the rains and it is the SCT so the City Council has nothing to do with the construction of said work.
“It is not our issue, they commented on it to me that way lightly, superficially, it is their issue. We will only be relatively helping to supervise and they in turn would be attentive to our work for which I was grateful, “he said.
