In his end-of-year message, the Mayor asked the Mazatlan people to take care of their health because the Covid-19 pandemic is not over yet

Mazatlán, Sinaloa. – A few hours after the end of 2021, the municipal president of Mazatlán, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, wished all Mazatlecos life, success and health, with the promise and assurance that in 2022 Mazatlán will do better.

“There is a year coming that many of us could think that it would never come, which is 2022, what I do assure all Mazatlecos is that we will do better than 2021,” he said.

Benítez Torres, asked the Mazatlan people to take care of their health, reiterating the commitment that Mazatlán and the citizens will be better every day of the coming year.

He commented that, although a fourth wave of infections by Covid-19 is expected and in general the pandemic is already in decline, citizens should not trust themselves, so it is necessary to keep all prevention protocols.

Regarding the event to dismiss the year on December 31, he commented that all prevention protocols will be strictly cared for so that attendees have healthy fun, but without relaxing sanitary measures.
