MAZATLÁN.- Nobody stops Mazatlán and continues to advance, despite the fact that in 2021 we are still affected by the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic.

This year the port will close with 2,000 authorized construction projects and 100 million pesos collected in permits, informed the director of Planning and Urban Development, Jorge Estavillo Kelly.

These earnings will represent a great source of opportunities for locals since more and better projects in the city mean that the workforce of the Mazatlan will be needed.

“Actually, the Directorate has had a lot of activity throughout the year, we are going to close the year well and we are going to start it even better, because big projects are coming that are going to bring benefits to Mazatlán, in terms of jobs, after they are already concluded as well. there will be permanent employment, “he said.

The municipal official stressed that the permits that the Directorate under his charge has granted are mostly for the construction of towers, subdivisions and hotels. He also reported that not only local businessmen are investing but also foreigners and foreigners, who are making an appearance in Mazatlán.

On the subject of subdivisions, it is the northern zone where it is developing the most.

Does the municipality have what it takes to meet all the needs? According to the Director, just as urban infrastructure grows, it also works to provide quality first-need services.

Estavillo Kelly mentioned that the total resource collected through construction permits is used to invest in the public works of Mazatlán or to make various improvements.
