In Mazatlán the influx of foreign tourists arriving by air increased. The leader of Atamsa, Hugo Velázquez, reported that this 2021 was profitable compared to 2020, which was an atypical year due to the health emergency.
The Atamsa representative stressed that the situation has improved with the arrival of Canadian flights, including with the new San Francisco route.
“We increased by 70 percent, foreign tourism increased well and this represents good news for all of us,” said Hugo Velázquez.
They hope that next year they can recover from the crisis left by the pandemic. Velázquez assured that they do not lower their guard against Covid-19 and that the protocols are maintained.
