Mazatlán has new places to have a chat, a ‘chelita’ or to relax

2004

MAZATLÁN.- The year 2021 is about to end.

You may have heard of some of you may not know them, but we are sure you will love them.

Central Park “Parque Central”

The Central Park, formerly the City Forest, is an interactive and dynamic space, destined to connect educational, sports, recreational, cultural, tourist and entertainment infrastructure that offers a unique experience to its visitors, both local and national and international tourists.

In this place, you can walk along its paths surrounded by trees, ride a bicycle as it has cycle paths, as well as spaces to enjoy nature.

It is considered one of the largest natural spaces in the city due to its extension of 32.54 hectares, it is located to the southwest of the city, next to the boardwalk. Central Park has opening hours from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. And for now, we regret to report that the park will not allow access to pets.

The Roosevelt “La Roosevelt”

“La Roosevelt” is a new plaza located in the beautiful Historic Center of Mazatlán. Inside it houses an Art Gallery with pieces of different techniques and styles by both emerging and established Mexican artists.
In addition, it has spaces dedicated to a store with items from renowned Mexican designers.
The upper floor of La Roosevelt offers the exclusive of staying in an extension of the gallery: a boutique hotel with two rooms full of details of style, art, and design, which already has reservations open for this December season.

And shortly, commercial spaces will open, such as breweries, mezcalerías, and food establishments.

500 nights “500 noches”

Fan of bohemian and quiet places? Then the coffee bar 500 nights is your thing. A place where you will undoubtedly spend moments of encounter with life, the world and time, but also to see the soul from within with its live music that will make you fall in love.

They are located at Avenida La Marina # 6107. They work from Monday to Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Wings Army Machado

Finally! Our pleas were heard and there is already a Wings Army in the Historic Center of Mazatlán. Now we can enjoy a place full of history such as Plazuela Machado, but also a restaurant that is distinguished by making wings and boneless that conquer the palate of Mazatlan people. Don’t wait and visit them this weekend.

Mazatlán Observatory 1873 “Observatorio Mazatlán 1873”

This is a place that preserves our history. Sitting on the top of Cerro del Vigía at 75 meters above sea level, this building known as the Observatory was initially built by the people of Mazatlán as a military observation post, hence the name Cerro del Vigía.

The activities they have are: funicular museum, bird sanctuary, spirits, and sky bar.

La Noria Tourist Circuit

This is not a new attraction, but the tourist circuit has developed so much this year that it is well worth talking about.

Just 37 kilometers from Mazatlán is the La Noria receivership, a picturesque place where we are sure you will spend incredible moments. The first thing you should do is get to a restaurant and have breakfast in La Noria, there is a choice, both along the road and in town.

Don’t worry about the menu, there is everything from birria, menudo, chilaquiles, carnitas, country breakfasts to quequis with chocomilk for the little ones. In its restaurants, for example, in La Vaca Lupe you can even find farm animals!

For 2022

For next year we will have the Sea of Cortez Aquarium, which promises to be the largest in all of Latin America, and the start of construction of the Plaza de la Banda.
