For parking on the yellow line, outside the Cathedral and the Municipal Palace in the center of the city, three patrols of the Municipal Transit Subdirectorate were sanctioned for which their drivers had to pay the corresponding fine.

This Tuesday, the SSPyTM celebrated a mass of thanksgiving for Transit Day, which is celebrated tomorrow, December 22, and some elements took the opportunity to park their units in the aforementioned spaces.

In this regard, the Deputy Director of Traffic, Jorge Samuel Alvarado Illustrious, said that acts were prepared for units 151, 297, and 281, and their drivers presented payment receipts for 268 pesos.
He added that the elements were exhorted not to repeat these offenses.

Mayor Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres pointed out that yesterday he requested the removal of a City Council worker who on several occasions parked on the yellow line, and mentioned that public servants should set the example because the law in Mazatlán is applied without distinguishing.

“Hey, we have to be the ones to set the example in the city … On Saturday they told me about another official who had the car on a yellow line, what do we do? Well, take it with the tow truck. It is that we have to be even; justice is equal for all, it does not benefit public officials, “he reiterated.
