This is due to the large number of people who flock to the area to continue celebrating the holiday.

MAZATLAN. – Everyone’s favorite days are approaching, yes, we are talking about Christmas Eve and Christmas, and as good Mazatlecos who love to party, it is common for families to go to tourist areas such as Olas Altas and the Malecón to continue celebrating.

As it is at Christmas, parents are accompanied by their children so that they can premiere the toys that Santa Claus brought them for behaving well: from dolls, remote control cars, bicycles, tricycles, and skates. There are even those who carry their speakers, to listen to music.

Due to the number of people who come to the place, on some occasions, the Olas Altas road becomes pedestrian so that families can enjoy a pleasant time without worrying that an accident will happen to their children.

This year Mayor Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres expressed that they are analyzing the possibility of closing the road on the 25th to allow citizens to move freely and continue with the Christmas festivities.

“It is not defined yet, if there is a chance that we will do it, it would be appropriate. We are going to analyze it, ”he said.

Another of the roads that have become popular in recent years and more so now due to the inauguration of Central Park is Quirino Ordaz Avenue, formerly known as Bahía. This area is also very popular with families and young people. Could it be that this year we will see more roads turned into pedestrianized areas?
