Sinaloa. – The movements of the earth in the area of ​​the Gulf of California, between Sinaloa and Baja California Sur, continue to occur and on Thursday night a new earthquake occurred that was registered with a magnitude of 4.5 degrees.

The earthquake occurred at 8:00 p.m. local time, 125 kilometers northeast of La Paz, Baja California Sur, and 98 kilometers southwest of Las Glorias beach, in Guasave, Sinaloa.

In the technical file issued by the National Seismological Service, it is detailed that the movement occurred at a depth of 16 kilometers.

So far this year, the National Seismological Institute has registered 108 earthquakes in the state of Sinaloa or near its territory, of which 86 have occurred in that area of ​​the Gulf of California where the earthquake occurred this Thursday.

To those 86 are added another 22 that have been presented in that same area, but that the SSN has registered them for the state of Baja California Sur, so that in total there are already more than 100 throughout the year.
