At a press conference, accompanied by the director of the Institute of Culture, José Ángel Tostado, the municipality said that it is about “uniting families more with this type of event that, we intend, to become historic to celebrate every end of the year” .

From the Callejón de Liverpool, where the Beatles figures are located, Tostado reported that admission will be free and that all families, Mazatlecos, and tourists who wish to celebrate the arrival of the new year will be able to attend. He said that there will be three temples installed from the Shields to the monument to the Mazatleca Woman and that the main floor will be in the statue of the Venadito where Mi Banda el Mexicano will be.

He indicated that those who want to occupy tables for families will cost 600 pesos and will have eight chairs available. They may bring food and beverages, including alcoholic ones, but no glass containers or crockery, or any glass object.

Mayor Benítez Torres pointed out that there will be a lot of security for families to enjoy. He recalled that the first year of celebration, to receive 2019, some 15 thousand people gathered; The following year it rained and only about 9 thousand people arrived and last year it could not be celebrated due to the pandemic, but now for this end of the year we expect much more people and these parties will become a tradition in the style of big cities, such as New York, Paris, and Madrid.
