A tourist corridor in La Noria that catches this specific tourism and that seeks an experience beyond sun and beach is what the Mazatlán Sedectur is looking for.

MAZATLAN. – Imagine getting married with an ocean view, but better still, think of a wedding in Mazatlán, but between the agaves and the rural area of La Noria, because something like this is being planned in this receivership, which by 2022 seeks to compete as a destination for weddings in the country.

The undersecretary, Luis Terán Tirado, said that the port has a lot of potential as a wedding destination, especially all-inclusive hotels, but the idea is to sell the corridor they have just built in La Noria, give it its value, and why not, compete with the Valle de Guadalupe, a favorite place for Mexicans and foreigners to get married.

“We want to make it an area to promote weddings, there are restaurants that seek to increase their potential, it will be an interesting route, very safe and with many possibilities for development, like Valle de Guadalupe, something similar, we do not have vineyards, but we have agave”, he said. .

Terán Tirado, pointed out that Mazatlán has everything to be considered a wedding or romance destination, it has spaces that can be enjoyed as a couple, a honeymoon and a dream party, a photo with your wedding dress and your partner, in the heart of Paseo del Centenario, something else? Why not, an enviable sunset in the background.

“Mazatlán has a series of strong wedding events, especially in all-inclusive hotels, when they have that offer it is cheaper for them to give them a wedding, it is easier, there are a series of large weddings in these hotels that can arrive and it gives a benefit to destiny, “he said.

What does La Noria lack to stand out?

The municipal undersecretary expressed that the receivership has everything to stand out, they are even seeing the opportunity to increase their hotel offer, because, although the rooms on the coastal promenade work, the ideal would be for them to stay in the town and live the full experience.

In fact, we all know when the wedding season arrives, it is enough that the months of November and December approach so that every day, on your social networks, you notice that someone got married, even during the week, the party rooms are busy, venues with a suit and dress rentals are on-demand and churches are reserved up to a year in advance.
