MAZATLÁN.- Traveling to Great Britain? It will already be possible and without spending a single peso because in the port we already have a piece of one of the streets of the city of Liverpool, the place where the popular British band “The Beatles” was born.

With the aim of globalizing Mazatlán, it was decided to rename the old Malpica alley in a new place that will attract the eyes of locals and tourists by paying tribute to this famous band that fell in love and moved millions of people around the world with their music. in the 70s.

Mayor Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres reported that the city is interested in European tourism and what better way to offer all tourists a place full of culture.

“This project is not born by chance, it is born from the love we have for this port, we are aware that every day we need new attractions for tourists,” he said.

What are we going to find in Liverpool Alley? The first thing we are going to see is an impressive monument of The Beatles across the street, which makes a nod to the unforgettable cover of their album “Abbey Road”.

Then we will find a figure of a classic red British style car with the flags printed on its windows and doors.

But that’s not all, because if we talk about transporting ourselves to another culture, the red phone booth could not be missing.
