In this first stage, offenders will not be fined, but calls for attention will be applied, as many of the drivers are getting used to the new sound control rules in the port

Mazatlán, Sinaloa. -The delegate of Roads and Transportation, Mario Rafael González Sánchez, warned that there are already 36 carriers who have been caught driving outside the established hours and norms, however, no sanctions have been applied yet.

According to the official, in this first stage, the offenders will not be fined, but warnings will be applied, as many of the drivers are getting used to the new sound control regulations in the port. Regarding the offenders, it revealed that of the 36 indicated have been both pneumonia and charioteers, ruling out a trend in each transport group.

“We started the banner on the 2nd, until now we agreed that between now and the 15th there would only be calls for attention. We have made 36 calls for attention and we have 235 reviews ”, he commented.

“The problem has been aurigas and pulmonias, it has been almost even; many do not know or simply the level of decibels they bring is not the same as we use, so we give them the application to lower the volume, “said the official.

He recalled that this operation will regulate music levels not exceeding 50 decibels, in addition to operating from 8 at night to 2 in the morning, exclusively focused on carriers. In the case of noise emitted by vehicles, traffic will be in charge of taking the respective measures.
