This is due to adjustments that are still being made to the newly opened ones, the plant at the foot of the hill continues to treat water, but only by 10 percent

Mazatlán, Sinaloa. – Due to adjustments in the recently inaugurated sewage treatment plants, the one in Crestón is still operating, but only in a tenth part, confirmed the municipal president, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres.

The mayor of Mazatlan announced that by the end of the year it will be finished dismantling what for years was the Crestón water treatment plant.

“It is minimal, a tenth of it is working because there are still adjustments in the treatment plant that was inaugurated,” he reiterated.

Mayor Benítez Torres assured that the contracted company has to leave them to one hundred and as soon as they are ready, the Crestón will completely stop working, however, it is already being dismantled.

“It will conclude its dismantling at the end of the year, because we are committed to starting the year with the Plaza de la Banda (project),” he concluded.
