Garbage collection in the city was not neglected, says Morales Lizárraga, from Public Services

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- About 2,000 tons of garbage were collected by the Public Services Directorate from Friday to Monday, the duration of the revolutionary bridge.

The director of the agency, Miguel Luis Morales Lizárraga, reported that in four days 1,873.5 tons were collected throughout the city.

Despite the fact that both tourists and locals grabbed the Malecón from both Avenida Del Mar and Olas Altas as a garbage dump, due to the complaints and photos that people uploaded to their social networks, there were no problems in their collection.

” The city was not neglected,” said the municipal official.

From very early on, the Urban Cleaning Headquarters had to reinforce the crews of workers to begin cleaning the area of the boardwalk and especially the Olas Altas promenade, since there was a lot of garbage in the open.

In addition, as is customary, a garbage collection unit had to go early to the Pino Suárez Market to clean the containers and the accumulation of garbage, so that when people go to their daily work, they would not see the waste.

However, it was reported that in some neighborhoods there was a delay in garbage collection, such as Salvador Allende and in some Infonavit subdivisions
