MAZATLÁN.- Today starts the 45th Tianguis Turístico de México that will take place this year in Mérida, Yucatán, from November 16 to 19, where the Sinaloa delegation will seek to surprise locals and strangers with its presentation, but also to achieve negotiations that bring more tourists to the state.

The State Secretary of Tourism, María del Rosario Torres Noriega, reported that more than 700 companies from 5 continents will participate in this event with exhibitions and purchases.

“We will sit down to discuss business with national and international airlines, wholesale operators and event organizers,” he said.

Independent hotels and hotel chains, airlines and tourism representatives from the 32 states of the Mexican Republic participate in the Tourism Tianguis.

Torres Noriega commented that Sinaloa will have 8 suites and a total of 144 square meters for exhibition, which includes the participation of hotel associations, tour operators, representatives of the magical towns and hotel businessmen of Mazatlán, Culiacán and Los Mochis.

It was reported that the Sinaloa delegation will be represented by around 23 companies and municipal presidents with tourist destinations.

After the coronavirus pandemic, this will be the first national tourism fair with the entire tourism sector, which marks the beginning of the promotional work plan by the new state administration, said the Sinaloa Tourism Secretary.

The Sinaloan delegation will deliver brochures and display videos to promote the attractions of the 18 municipalities of Sinaloa, including the tourist brands of Culiacán, Ruta Chepe Express, Los Mochis, Mazatlán, Pueblos Mágicos, Pueblos Senoriales and Ruta del Évora.
