Over 12,000 cruise ship passengers are expected in Mazatlan this week


Four boats with more than 12 thousand passengers will arrive this week

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The Majestic Princess tourist cruise arrived in Mazatlán this Tuesday, it is the first of four that will arrive this week.

It was at 7:30 a.m. when the boat from Cabo San Lucas entered the port with 2,997 passengers and 1,246 crew members.

Once the docking work was done, most of the tourists got off the boat to enjoy the main attractions of the city and the rural area.

First, the cruise passengers who bought tours to get to know the city and the biodiversity of the magical town of Copala and the community of La Noria descended.

Tourists will visit the main attractions of Mazatlán, explore its gastronomic offer, be captivated by the beauty of its nineteenth-century buildings, appreciate the biodiversity of the rural environment, and see the growth of the modern tourist infrastructure along the coastal walk, Golden Zone, and North of the city.

With the representation of the Secretary of Tourism of Sinaloa, Maria del Rosario Torres Noriega, Alfonso Gil Díaz, director of Special Projects Anna Ivette Carvajal, head of the Cruise Department, they welcomed the cruise passengers, and accompanied by Lucero Lizzeth Rojas, of the Tourist Promotion Liaison office of the City Council, provided informative maps about the places to visit and the routes to follow during their stay in the port.

At 5:00 p.m., the M / V Majestic Princess will set sail from Mazatlán to Puerto Vallarta.
