Lineal Park, a benefit for those living in Mazatlan

MAZATLÁN.- For half a decade, the Linear Park of Mazatlán has favored citizens who live in the colonies and subdivisions of the north of Mazatlán.

The evolution that Mazatlán has had over the years has been enviable. In half a decade, or perhaps a little more, the number of green recreational spaces, of a public nature, has increased.

Since 2015, the Parque Lineal construction has already shown a different face to the environment of that part of the city where a total of 42 hectares of trees along the median of the park which benefits more than 42 surrounding neighborhoods, in addition to the public in General also has a total of 28 public transport routes.

The park is divided into several sections, with an extension of more than 5.7 kilometers where children, youth, adults, and entire families can be seen doing different activities, from biking to jogging.

The site, being open to the public, can be seen moving from Monday to Sunday, from morning to night, which is where people take the most advantage to exercise, take a walk with family or chat for a while with friends. 

From people on bicycles, skates, skateboards, running, walking, they can be seen through the Park, and through its bike path that comes to give a freshness to the place, in addition to those different activities such as Zumba, fitness among other ranges more than training.

In the park you can also carry out exercises in the different public devices that are located throughout the area.

Throughout the park, you can see groups of people doing different types of exercise, such as Crossfit, Zumba, and even classes to learn to skate or ride a bicycle.

With data from the Linear Parks in Mexico – Parques Alegres IAP page, the Lineal Park of Mazatlán is considered the longest in the entire country, as it has a recreational, modern, and beautiful infrastructure that is a lung in the municipality.
