MAZATLÁN.- Global warming is here, its effects have reached us, with more catastrophic rains, more floods, melting poles but above all, with higher temperatures, have you felt that every year it gets hotter? they are effects of this phenomenon.

At the United Nations Climate Conference, it was mentioned that in a study of 184 cities, all of them presented serious future problems if global temperatures increased by only 3 degrees Celsius.

One of these cities is Mazatlán, in its images that you can find at https://picturing.climatecentral.org/ show the sea levels projected in the future in the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, placing almost all of Mazatlán in blue.

All this, due to global warming caused by man in two different scenarios and although the UN indicates that these water levels can be reached in hundreds of years, it is a possibility that has to be worked on in the short term.
