Mazatlán, Sinaloa. – Two weeks after the current administration ends, there are approximately 60 works for the benefit of the Mazatlan people that are yet to be inaugurated, admitted the director of Welfare and Social Development, Tonatiuh Guerra Martínez.

“We have about 60 works that are the works of agreement such as the lighting of the Sábalo-Cerritos, the Gabriel Leyva, the Abraham González avenue, the Cuauhtémoc, in Villa Unión, a pavement package of the Francis I Madero neighborhood,” he explained.

Guerra Martínez said that the municipal government is investing approximately 20 million pesos in these works packages.

Guerra Martínez, acknowledged that there will be many pending works for the next administration because throughout Mazatlan there is a lot of demand for works to be done and whoever arrives in the next triennium will surely give continuity to projects that for some reason have been unfinished.

Regarding the distribution of support to those affected by hurricane Pamela, he said that everything is more of an administrative process than anything else and the personnel under his charge are in the field making visits to families to assess the damage.
