At kilometer 154 of the highway, the closure of circulation in both directions continues due to cleaning and stone removal work

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- After the passage of hurricane “Pamela”, the Mazatlán-Durango highway presents some effects due to landslides in the mountainous area.

Traffic is intermittent, so it is recommended to take extreme precautions, since in some parts of the road there are landslides, in which personnel from Capufe and Brigada de Auxilio Vial, already carry out the corresponding cleaning, so that the circulation remains in its normality.

The National Guard Roads Division is at strategic points to protect the integrity of motorists, who are invited to consult with them for any information in this regard.

Meanwhile, the Center of the Ministry of Communications and Transportation of Sinaloa reported that kilometer 143 + 200 (675) of the Durango-Villa Unión, in the Lázaro Cárdenas-Villa Unión stretch, was also closed to vehicular traffic.

Through Mexico Webcams on her Twitter account, a video was released #Pamela hits #Durango with # Mazatlán, showing how the road is flooded after landslides from an adjoining hill and also by floods.
