The red alert at the moment specified, is from the south of Culiacán to Escuinapa, covering the municipalities of: Cosalá, Elota, Culiacán, San Ignacio, Mazatlán, Rosario and Escuinapa, mainly and the coasts, and later in the highlands where at colliding “Pamela” with the Sierra Madre Occidental, will release significant rainfall.

He explained that the alert must be maintained until afternoon when it is expected to cross the Sierra Madre Occidental and enter Durango where significant rainfall will also accumulate.

The specialist of the National Meteorological Service asked the municipality of Culiacán not to trust it since the cloud bands of “Pamela” are very wide and there are showers over this area.

“For Culiacán it is a little further north, however, the convection with thunderstorms is in the southern portion of the municipality and also in the municipality of San Ignacio, Elota, Cosalá, Concordia, Rosario, and Escuinapa, but they should not lower their guard because there will be the presence of showers with rains and winds of up to 60 kilometers per hour ”, he requested.
