Hurricane “Pamela” will make landfall as a Cat 3 between La Cruz and Mazatlán

The system maintains the forecast extended to two days and continues without modifying the possible impact zone of “Pamela” as a powerful hurricane 3

The National Meteorological Service, most of the forecast models place “Pamela” as a powerful hurricane three with an impact in Sinaloa next Wednesday, October 13, 2021.

The Zoom Earth system takes up monitoring directly from the National Office for Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration – NOAA -, a scientific agency of the United States Department of Commerce whose activities are focused on monitoring the conditions of the oceans and the atmosphere, continues to highlight the impact zone. 

It indicates that when it makes landfall in Sinaloa, which will then be Hurricane 3 with winds exceeding 200 kilometers per hour, it will do so between La Cruz de Elota and Mazatlán starting at 1:00 p.m. 

A category three hurricane has the strength to cause devastating damage. Its winds record 178-208 kilometers per hour and can cause cracks in material houses, uproot large trees and detach structures.

Zoom Earth also details in its graph by the hour and day, that when it touches land, “Pamela” will degrade to hurricane one in the limits of Sinaloa and Durango, where it will enter, it will cross it even with hurricane-force winds, until it reaches Torreón, Coahuila like a tropical storm.

The National Meteorological Service in its monitoring until October 14 highlighted that “Pamela” will enter at noon on Wednesday as a hurricane 121 km east-southeast of Culiacán; on Thursday he will do it to Torreón as a storm.
