Tulum and Mazatlan top the search list of the seven main beach cities

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Faced with the real estate “boom” that Mazatlán has registered in recent years, the port has positioned itself among the seven main cities with beaches that have grown in the search interest of users.

According to an analysis carried out with the data from the Inmuebles24 portal, in the first place is Tulum, which offers both land and luxury homes or condo-hotel-type services, for those interested in investing.

In the period from January to July 2021, against 2020, this area increased search interest by 91%; Mazatlán has 57%; Cancun 35%; Acapulco 33%; Cozumel 30%; Los Cabos has 20%; Puerto Progreso 18% and Puerto Vallarta with 11%.

Like the Mexican Caribbean, in the Pacific, there were also growth lessons in the real estate sector during the Covid-19 pandemic and the trend will continue.

The president of the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals of Mazatlán, Roberto Arellano Osorio, celebrated the nomination and especially the growth that the port has had compared to other beach cities in the country.

“We are very happy with this nomination that came out, we are compared to big cities, through their investment, climate, gastronomy, Mazatlán has positioned us in that range, where investors are seeing the destination as very attractive to attract strong hotel chains and developments. real estate, “he said.

He stressed that Mazatlán is a destination in the Mexican Pacific that attracts foreign investment, and one of its next tourist attractions will be the largest Aquarium in Latin America, which is expected to have a great economic impact on the city.

He acknowledged that it was from the 2018 Tourist Tianguis when real estate interest in this place rose, in addition to amenities such as the baseball and soccer stadiums.

“Currently there are more local and national investments than foreign, the Sinaloa developer is investing, and the buyer is coming from abroad, foreign investment is projecting in the hotel industry, but not so much in vertical development,” he said.
