According to a report revealed by Codesin, from January to June, and after a year of almost total paralysis, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, 8,061 flights arrived, which is 2,552 more compared to the same period in 2020. , when Sinaloa received 5,809 flights.

Regarding the arrival of passengers by air, in that same period, 770 thousand 482 people arrived at the three airports in 2021, an increase of 45 percent compared to the 530 thousand 858 passengers who arrived in 2020.

The Culiacán airport concentrated 54.1 percent of the flights received by Sinaloa, with 4 thousand 357, and 57.8 percent of the passengers, with 445 thousand 230 people; the Mazatlán airport received 1,965 flights and 246,931 passengers; While 1,112 flights and 78,321 passengers arrived in Los Mochis.

The Codesin report highlights that of the 770 thousand 482 passengers received by the three Sinaloa airports, 735 thousand 764, representing 95.5 percent, are national, while 34 thousand 718, which is 4.5 percent, are foreigners.

Regarding the maritime transport of cruises, Sinaloa did not report the arrival of any cruise ships in the first half of 2021.
