Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- To promote new projects, boost growth, economic development and reactivate the Mazatlán Riviera, municipal president Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres held a private meeting with the elected mayors of southern Sinaloa.

The municipality highlighted that the elected presidents and mayors of the south of the state are delighted to participate in the Riviera Mazatlán project and to create new strategies to support each other because it is clear that small municipalities take care of their larger neighbor (Mazatlán) due to because they receive little budget

“It was part of the meeting, the issue of the Riviera Mazatlán. Going to Mérida together, going to Spain together to promote all of southern Sinaloa because the Riviera Maya is made up of six municipalities, it is not only Cozumel and Cancun; then, it is the same idea because we want to compete with all those destinations ”.

Mayor Benítez specified that Mazatlán will always have the “open doors” to dialogue, listen and support the municipalities of southern Sinaloa, in order to walk together in the growth and economic development of the region.
