When will they repair roads damaged by “Nora” in Sinaloa?

Four of the seven municipalities that suffered damage from hurricane “Nora” have been visited

Sinaloa.- The Subcommittee on Evaluation of damage to roads that left behind by Sinaloa the hurricane “Nora” , and carries a significant advance, confirmed the Secretary of Public Works of the Government of the State, Osbaldo Lopez Angulo.

He explained that in coordination with the Ministry of Communications and Transportation ( SCT ) they are working on the georeference of the damaged points so that the economic amount that will be needed in the repair can be determined.

“The tours are already being made to carry out the georeference of the damaged points and also to try to get the final budget, which is what is going to be sent to Mexico City,” he said.

López Angulo announced that the tours in Culiacán, Elota, San Ignacio, and Mazatlán have already concluded and are currently evaluating El Rosario, Escuinapa, and Concordia, which add up to the seven municipalities that are part of the Declaration of Disaster Zone.

He added that the main damages suffered in the land communication routes are sinkholes, affectations due to water crossings and the strongest being the bridge of the Mexico 15 International Highway at the height of the El Quelite community.

He estimated that in ten days they would be concluding the tours to prepare the respective budgets and send them to Mexico City, in order to process the release of resources and their application.
