Saint Ignacio, Sinaloa. – The softening of the earth as a result of the rains brought by the Nora pass caused the collapse of a railway bridge and the derailment of the freight railway in the municipality of San Ignacio, near the Mazatlán-Culiacán highway.

The balance of the railway accident was two wagons that fell into a small stream, loss of merchandise and four employees with various injuries to their bodies, in addition to the delay in the arrival of emergency forces due to the weather situation.

FirefightersCivil Protection and Ferromex employees were transferred to the aid to attend to the injured who only suffered minor blows.

The wagons were removed with cranes and then taken to the Ferromex yards to assess the damage caused.
