Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Fifty-two homes, for the same number of families displaced from the Sierra de Concordia and Mazatlán, victims of violence today have a guaranteed heritage to protect themselves, which was supervised by Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel, on Saturday .

Noé Heredia, head of the Sinaloa Housing Commission, explained that this second package of 52 homes, measuring 50.88 square meters, with a living room, bathroom, kitchen and a room measuring 3 by 6 meters, in an individual area of ​​6 by 17 meters, with progressive services, since once completed they will be connected to the electricity, drinking water and sanitary sewer networks. Mr. Miguel Gutiérrez, leader of the Sinaloense Broad Movement, thanked the beneficiaries on behalf of the beneficiaries.

“That the people who have already been assigned housing are displaced from the Sierra de Rosario, Concordia and the Sierra de Mazatlán, people who for forced reasons came to settle in Mazatlán. Thanks to everyone and everyone, it is becoming a dream come true that they have a decent life, most of them are people who went out one day at night and did not return to their homes ”.

The personal representation of Mayor Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, spoke the director of Social Welfare of the Mazatlán City Council, Tonatiu Guerra Martínez, who offered to help in the project in the future as a government, while Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel, in his speech stated that they serve those who need it.

“My government is the only government, the first government that really looks at the displaced, they are human beings, they are people just like us, that is why a government has to turn around and see precisely the one it needs the most. There is a greater commitment for the coming triennium to continue on the part of the municipality, adding part of the housing project they have with the entering state administration ”.

At the meeting they stated that their government has invested 45 million pesos in this patrimony for the families displaced by the violence, directly attacking this social problem. The new settlement is located south of the city of Mazatlán, where they also plan to acquire new properties to support more families.
