The director of CAPTA, Astrid Macías Fragoso, announced that they have received complaints from tourists against service providers, especially in hotels, as observations on the issue of health protocols.

She added that they have come to these places to comment, sometimes with the support of Civil Protection, and these establishments have corrected the errors.

“They are areas of opportunity that I think there are, the important thing is to know and correct it,” she said.

MZTOURIST APP in high demand

Astrid Macías Fragoso reported that they are working on a special section in the MZTourist application for people who will arrive on the Carnival Panorama cruise with information that will be useful to them.

She commented that the application has been in great demand and many destinations are interested in implementing it in their respective municipalities.

“The mayor made it available to them and we are working so that they have a totally free tool available,” he announced.

Some of the requests have been from the states of Nayarit, Sonora, Puerto Vallarta and Michoacán.

“We continue to disseminate this tool because we intend for it to be introduced to shipping lines with the help of API,” she reported.
