Only 6 of them were granted to allow them entry only to essential places

The Secretary of the City Council, José de Jesús Flores Segura, reported that the municipality has 32 protections notified from vaccination certificates.

Of this total, 28 were not granted a suspension, that is, and will need present a vaccination certificate in establishments; while there are 6 that have been granted, but only to allow them to enter essential places.

He commented that most of the district judges who are based in Mazatlán have not granted the suspension.

He said that these judges are prioritizing public health as dictated by law.

“Article 129 marks that it should not be granted when there is an imminent health risk, as in this case, it is.”

He reiterated that this measure is to reduce infections, especially the source of infection.
