Pulmonias are traditional from the port of Mazatlán, and if you visit the pearl of the Pacific and don’t get on one, it’s as if you hadn’t been here.

These peculiar transports are so popular that they even have a monument on Av. Del Mar in front of Dr. Rafael Domínguez street.

But there is something you may not have noticed; to one side is what appears to be the hill of the crestón and in it a mural in relief.

A mermaid, a deer, marine species, masks symbolizing the carnival, and even a small pulmonia, are the elements that undoubtedly give identity to the port of Mazatlán, and demonstrate the cultural richness that we Mazatlan have.

Previously at the top of this monument there was a small lighthouse, which has disappeared.

If you visit Mazatlán, do not hesitate to take a picture at this monument.
