Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The municipal president of Mazatlán, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, announced that businesses that do not require the Vaccination Certificate against Covid 19 will be sanctioned, but acknowledged that it cannot be applied overnight.
“That is why we are going to send some sheets (notices) and whoever does not comply and who has those notices and does not comply, then we are going to sanction them. We cannot sanction overnight, we are not enemies of the merchants ”, he clarified.
In this sense, he explained that there has been a lot of support from the chambers of commerce since they are the ones who download the information to their members.
“They are helping us, they are helping us; the organizations Mazatlan business groups are downloading the information to all their partners, ”he added.
Benítez Torres acknowledged that making a decision like this unique in the entire municipality is not easy to implement, so it will be a matter of several days for this new regulation to be well established.
