Sinaloa.- COVID-19 infections do not give truce to the Health Sector and this Wednesday 568 new cases of the disease were added to the statistics, to bring the number of active patients to 3,395 .
The municipalities with the highest number of new cases are Culiacán with 201 new patients, Mazatlán with 95, Ahome with 69 and Navolato with 49, while Elota reports 36, Escuinapa 30, Badiraguato 21 new patients, Rosario 19, while the municipalities with fewer cases are Salvador Alvarado with 9, El Fuerte with 9, San Ignacio 8, Mocorito 6, Guasave 6, Choix 5 and Angostura 5.
Taking into account the map that for more than a year the Sinaloa Health Secretariat itself managed, which indicated the municipalities with 101 active cases or more in red, this day Elota and Escuinapa are added to Culiacán, Mazatlán, Ahome, Rosario, Navolato and Guasave in that coloration.
37 thousand 764 have been recovered, of which 277 correspond to new recovered patients.
Of the patients recovered from Culiacán, 137 patients have overcome the disease, in Mazatlán 54, in Ahome 43, Navolato 15, Rosario 15, Escuinapa 5, San Ignacio 5 and Concordia 3.
In the case of patients who did not overcome the disease and unfortunately lost their lives, 16 new deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, in the municipality of Culiacán 6, in Mazatlán 5, in Rosario 2, in Ahome 2 deaths and in Navolato 1 .
