Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Clearing the doubts that citizens and tourists had about the restrictions that would be taken in Mazatlán due to the rebound in Covid cases, state and municipal authorities reached an agreement to maintain the existing protocols, limiting themselves to hardening them and enforce them.

Accompanied by Mayor Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, and representatives of the economic, transport, and business sectors, the head of the State Health Secretary, Efrén Encinas Torres, disseminated to the general public the guidelines that will be applied in order to prevent the spread of infections by Covid.

“All sectors must adhere to the sanitary hygiene protocols that have been established by the health secretary and that are trained,” he added.

In addition to inviting the use of call centers, Encinas Torres added that in the business sector a census will be carried out that identifies people over 40 years of age who have not been vaccinated so that they can be granted a special day to be able to get immunized.
