The program that lasted two days, from June 29 to 30, was a success because expectations were exceeded because according to Flores Gutiérrez, most of the needs of the elderly could be covered.

“We reached the goal, in fact, we exceeded it, we had set a goal of a thousand kilos of aid, we are a little over 2,000 kilos and what we asked, in general, where cleaning products, diapers, articles for personal use for the children. grandparents (…) We are very happy because grandparents are going to have all the things they need for a while ”, she celebrated.

On the other hand, he explained that there were articles that they did not receive but that are equally important, such as brooms, mops, and products for washing clothes for the elderly. However, he recognized that the needs will always be constant since they provide a home for 24 people who can no longer provide for themselves.

“We still have some products that were not donated, for the most part, for example, they almost did not donate softener for the clothes that are used, or brooms, mops, that is, these products did not come to us as a donation, so we would need it in the near future (…) The needs do not end, the house is big, there are many people who live there ”, she concluded.
