The authorities of the three levels of government work in coordination to reinforce health actions
Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- Expectations for tourist rentals summer are quite high and a figure expected record number of visitors despite the pandemic of Covid-19, said Juan José Ruiz González.
The Undersecretary of Planning, Investment, and Development of the Sinaloa Sector, assured that there will be no ceiling on hotel occupancy and it is estimated that it will reach levels of 85 percent.

Ruiz González reiterated that Sinaloa will remain on a yellow traffic light from June 21 to July 4, therefore the importance of continuing to maintain health protocols.
“It is the responsibility of all visitors, service providers, lodging centers, restaurants, who have worked in a very committed way on the issue of health, insist on continuing to take care of us,” he said.
He asserted that they maintain coordination between the tourism sector, the Ministry of Health, and the authorities of the three levels of government to reinforce health actions in order to prevent the situation from getting out of hand in relation to Covid since they expect a drop in the number of infections in the coming months.
The state official said that so far they have not had any response to the request made about vaccination for workers in the tourism sector.
“The only thing we have is that the United States government donated vaccines to Mexico mainly for the border area and at some point, the tourism sector has to become a priority, if we want to be taken into account, but we continue in talks,” he said.
