Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The director of Planning and Sustainable Development of the Mazatlán City Council, Jorge Estavillo Kelly, warned that there will be sanctions for all those builders or real estate developers who do not respect construction regulations.
“It is the function that the directors are responsible for work and sanctions have to be given so that what the regulation says is respected, what is being authorized, that is why two workshops are given to the year to update and comply with the provisions of new trends, “he added.
In the framework of the first 2021 update workshop for Directors Responsible for Works, he said that the sanctions go according to what is being violated, citing as an example several DROs, which have been suspended without signing a contract for an indeterminate period.
“For example, a private individual two years ago requested a building permit for a certain number of meters and it turned out that it was a tower. A review was made, the DRO construction table was called, which is the link to allow it to defend itself and then it was sanctioned, “he said.
