Although the Delegation of Alcohol and the Mazatlán Mayor’s Office still do not have instructions on how the suspension in the sale and distribution of ethyl beverages will operate, according to local media the so-called ‘Dry Law’ will be implemented as of next week.

The instructions will be rotating in each of the municipalities of Sinaloa, except in the tourist area of ​​Mazatlán, comprised of areas such as the Historic Center, Golden Zone, La Marina, among others, where they will maintain the sale and distribution of alcohol at the indicated times. in their licenses.

In the words of Gabriel Gavica, director of Inspection and Regulations of the State of Sinaloa, it was said that from Saturday, June 5, from 8 p.m. to Monday, June 7, more than 6 thousand establishments throughout Sinaloa must necessarily suspend the sale and distribution of intoxicating beverages.

The instructions for the event rooms will continue on a regular basis, this means that they will only monitor that they respect the established schedules, as long as they do not sell alcoholic beverages. In the opposite case that any establishment does not comply with the regulations, they will be subject to an immediate closure as well as a large sum and the cancellation of the alcohol license.
